Mr. + Mrs. Bundy – St. Louis, MO – April 20, 2024
The Bundy’s wedding was a mix of classic and modern traditions that was a joy to capture but also a honor. When I first met Caroline + Jon they were so genuine and sweet. They met each other while in college and a simple study session turned into a fairytale ending. Caroline + Jon both just received their Doctrines, and a wedding was just one way to celebrate!
From the captivating moments with Caroline and her bridesmaids striking a pose before the walk down, a heartfelt first look with Jon, personal St. Louis Trolly rides, intimate ceremony, gorgeous smelling florals from the bouquets and wonderful displays, sweet moments between parent dances. and a live band to get the party started. This wedding was a night to remember for Dr. + Dr. Bundy! Caroline overflowed with beauty in a stunning silk dress with a pearl band that was accented with a silk bow behind her. The dress complimented her wonderfully and gave her a princess feeling to always remember.
The special moment of first looks was the most emotional for Caroline. Caroline shared a first look with her soon to be hubs. Nothing releases tenses and stress on a wedding day then spending a few moments alone with your soon to be! Caroline + Jon shared personal vows to one another as well during the first look. This was a great opportunity for them to have some alone time and also shed a few tears privately.
Petal Pusher STL put together fresh florals with gorgeous greens, white roses, simple greenery and little accents of wildflowers. The bouquet not only looked amazing but also smelled amazing. The close connection between the Bundy’s and their bridal party was undeniable. The love showed for Caroline and Jon on their special day was not like any other. There was plenty of laughs, some cries, and most of all trye friendship.
Jon+ Caroline’s indoor ceremony was held at Little Flower Catholic Church in Saint Louis. The church was not your regular catholic church. The ceremony location was within the middle of the church with pews surrounding the pulpit. This was wonderful to allow all guest to sit around Caroline + Jon representing a circle of love (like a wedding ring) it is infinite. Warm lighting with beautiful florals throughout not only added the perfect touch.
Caroline + Jon’s reception was held at Forest Park Visitor Center – St. Louis, MO. Fresh florals, gold accents, and candles were all throughout the reception hall. A custom-made crossword puzzle was made for guest to complete. This was a test to see who knew the bride and groom the best! A delightful smelling four-tiered white cake elegantly covered in buttercream and florals was made by Don’s Bake Shop. Each tier of the cake was a different flavor and to say I did not try each tier would be a lie. The cake was not only beautiful but delicious. To say Don’s Bake Shop knows how to treat a sweet tooth is an understatement.
It was truly an honor to photograph Caroline + Jon’s wedding. I will always remember the couples I meet who are not only clients but may also one day be my doctor. I am happy I got to be surrounded by all the love of your family and friends.
Cheers Many years together as the new Dr. & Dr. Bundy!
