A Fairytale Wedding at Silver Oaks Chateau

On September 28th, 2025, I had the joy of photographing Kenzie and Tyler’s enchanting wedding at Silver Oaks Chateau in Pacific, Missouri. Kenzie had always dreamed of a castle or European-style chateau vibe, and Silver Oaks offered exactly that; even without any décor, the venue itself is breathtaking.

The couple appreciated that they didn’t need to “fix” anything, which was especially important for Kenzie, who wanted everything to feel perfect naturally. With its combination of outdoor spaces, grand halls, and French-inspired architecture, it was the ideal setting for their elegant celebration.

Getting Ready & Heartfelt Letters

The morning began with the intimate tradition of letters exchanged between Kenzie and Tyler. Capturing these quiet, emotional moments is one of my favorite parts of any wedding day — it’s the perfect pause before the whirlwind of the ceremony begins.

Kenzie’s anticipation, Tyler’s excitement, and the thoughtfulness in their notes to each other set a romantic, heartfelt tone for the day.

A Sweet & Emotional First Look

Kenzie and Tyler shared a first look on the upper stairs of Silver Oaks Chateau. It was intimate, emotional, and a private moment to connect before walking down the aisle.

Even with the first look, the couple preserved the excitement of their outdoor ceremony, and it was magical to watch Tyler’s reaction as he saw Kenzie in her gown for the very first time.

Their ceremony was held outdoors, directly in front of the chateau’s stunning fireplace feature, creating a romantic and sophisticated backdrop.

In case of weather, Silver Oaks provides a grand indoor hall but on this perfect September day, the outdoor setting captured the dreamlike European chateau vibe they had envisioned.

Elegant Portraits & Sweetheart Table

After the ceremony, we captured portraits around the chateau’s grounds. The grand architecture, manicured landscaping, and natural light made every image timeless and romantic.

At the reception, Kenzie and Tyler had a sweetheart table, creating an intimate moment to enjoy their first moments as newlyweds while still being surrounded by family and friends.
