An Intimate Marry Me Cottage Elopement in O’Fallon, MO | Nuntikan + Kyle | December 12, 2025

Some wedding days are all about the big party… and some are all about the heart.
Nuntikan and Kyle’s December 12, 2025 elopement at Marry Me Cottage in O’Fallon, Missouri was the kind of day that feels soft, intentional, and deeply meaningful: just the two of them and their parents, gathered close for a formal ceremony and a celebration centered on what matters most: family, commitment, and the kind of love that’s built on showing up for each other.
Why They Chose Marry Me Cottage
When Nuntikan and Kyle envisioned their wedding day, they knew they wanted something intimate, simple, and already beautifully set up. A space that didn’t need a ton of “extra” to feel special.
They chose Marry Me Cottage because it fit their elopement vision perfectly:
-
Cute + timeless with a clean, simple look
-
Designed for intimate weddings, so it feels warm and personal
-
Reasonably priced for the season and exactly what they needed
It was the perfect backdrop for a formal ceremony without the overwhelm. Just a sweet space, meaningful moments, and two people completely in love.
A Formal Ceremony with the People Who Matter Most
Because this elopement included only their parents, the day naturally slowed down in the best way. There was no rush, no chaos just space to breathe it all in.
Nuntikan shared that the most important things to capture were:
-
special moments with their parents
-
the ceremony itself
-
portraits afterward
And honestly? That focus created a wedding day that felt incredibly rich. The kind of rich you can’t buy; quiet glances, proud smiles, and the feeling of being surrounded by the people who helped shape who you are.
About Nuntikan + Kyle: A Love Story That Started With “Just One Day”
Their story began in the most modern way a dating app… for just one day.
Nuntikan was bored, didn’t expect anything, and decided to try it out briefly. That’s when she met Kyle… and that one small decision turned into the beginning of everything.
First impressions
-
From Nuntikan: “He’s cute, kind, and always a gentleman.”
-
From Kyle: “She’s beautiful, intelligent, and mature.”
Kyle made the first move, starting the conversation and then asking her out to dinner (gentleman energy from day one).
“This is the one”
Nuntikan knew Kyle was the one when she was struggling with her apartment and he stepped in to help her get everything sorted showing her he’d always be someone she could rely on.
Kyle knew it during his trip to Thailand when love became real in a whole new way.
A Relationship Built on Culture, Travel, and Choosing Each Other
One of my favorite parts of their story is how clearly they’ve built a relationship rooted in understanding.
They’ve traveled together, blended cultures, and embraced differences with intention. Kyle visited Nuntikan’s home country, Thailand, and she’s learned so much about his life here in the U.S. Their relationship is proof that cultural differences don’t divide the right people they deepen the connection when both hearts are willing to learn.
And their favorite “quirk” might be the cutest part:
They mix Thai and English in the same sentence without even noticing. It’s basically their own language at this point; and I’m obsessed with that.
The Proposal: Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas
Kyle proposed during their West Coast road trip through Utah and Arizona with their final stop in Las Vegas.
On their last night before flying home, they watched the Bellagio fountain show, and that’s where he asked her to marry him.
Nuntikan said she was completely shocked. Kyle was so nervous he skipped the speech entirely and went straight to:
“Will you marry me?”
Sometimes the simplest proposals are the sweetest because you can feel how real it is.
Portraits After the “I Do”
After the ceremony, we focused on portraits of the two of them just married, taking it all in, soaking up those “we really did it” feelings.
This is one of my favorite parts of elopements: the calm right after the vows. No distractions. No timeline pressure. Just the two of you, together, finally husband and wife.
