Mr. + Mrs. McKenzie – Chandler Hills Winery, Defiance, MO – September 16, 2023
The McKenzie’s Chandler Hill Winery wedding was such a classy and elegant wedding that was such a “sweet” joy to capture. From the emotional first looks, bridal party shenanigans, smell of delicious wine all around, to an intimate ceremony overlooking the vineyards.
The special moment of the first look with Lindsay and her dad was so sweet. Lindsay being the first daughter to marry only made her dad more emotional. There is nothing sweeter than a father/daughter relationship. Matt and Lindsay also shared a first look that not only took place in the gorgeous vineyards but was also the spot where they exchanged personal vows to one another. Tears of joy and love were present from both Lindsay and Matt as they knew this was the start of a grand adventure for them both that has been long awaited.
Lindsay and Matt decided to have an outdoor wedding that was surrounded by beautiful florals and overlooked the vineyards. Floral from Ayla’s florist was stunning all around with white roses and greenery. Along with the wonderful smells from the vineyards all around and the floral it sure made for a sweet day!
Lindsay and Matt’s reception was filed with wonderful smelling florals of greens all around, soft candlelight illuminating the venue from above, and gold, champagne, white, and green colors all around. Lindsay and Matt had delicious food catered by Chandler Hill that was amazing. I mean who can pass up on a plate of mashed potatoes, greens, and a steak! Chocolate Rooster provided dessert that was so pleasing to look at as well as eat.
While guest were still eating, I got the chance to snag Lindsay and Matt out to capture stunning images of them with an antique car that not only was outstanding to capture but also ran like a beauty still. Lindsay and Matt’s reception was a night to remember. The reception was held outside for guest to dance and have fun. During the first dance Lindsay and Matt got to start their marriage off with a boom (fireworks that is). Now that is a way to start a marriage!
