The Jokerst modern barn wedding was such a beautiful and elegant wedding that had beautiful architecture all around from custom rustic barn darns, vintage wood barrels, stonework throughout whole building to a intimidate gable overlooking a lake. Shelby + Nathan endured storms on their wedding day but that did not stop the love from raining upon them both.

Shelby shared a first look with her mother. The intimate relationship between them both was touching. Shelby expressed to me that she only strives to have the relationship with her soon to be husband like her mother and father. However, her father did not only have an amazing relationship with his wife but also his daughter – Shelby. During the first look with his daughter, he expressed to her his final thoughts before he walked her down the Aisle. These are words Shelby will never forget and getting the chance to hear these words as well- I can agree that his love is a love, we all need to strive to have.

Due to the rainstorm Shelby & Nathan decided to say their vows within the barn. However, the beauty of the venue was not shy. Shelby was stunning in her dress as she walked to her best friend. Rain or shine the love prevails.

Shelby & Nathan had a reception that was filled with lots of love and laughter and a few dance twirls. During Shelby & Nathans first dance, Nathan brought out his skills that I was hearing so much about and definitely owned the dance floor. Shelby & Nathans two-tiered buttercream cake with florals of white, sage, and burnt rose was as delicious and it looked.
