Getting Ready at Berkshire Ridge

Madison spent the morning getting ready in the bridal suite at Berkshire Ridge. The bridal suite gave us the perfect space to capture all of the sweet pre-ceremony moments, from final hair details to bridal portraits, wedding accessories, and those emotional moments before walking down the aisle.

Layne began his morning at the family Cabin in Blackwell, Missouri, before moving over to the groom’s suite at the venue. Having separate getting-ready spaces allowed both Madison and Layne to enjoy the morning with their favorite people before coming together for their first look.

A Romantic First Look Outside the Venue

Madison and Layne planned a first look outside at Berkshire Ridge, and it was such a sweet part of their wedding day. First looks are always special because they allow couples to pause, breathe, and enjoy a quiet moment together before the ceremony begins.

Their first look fit perfectly into the calm, romantic feel of the day. It gave them time to take in the moment, see each other privately, and enjoy portraits around the venue before celebrating with family and friends.

Their ceremony was officiated by Pastor Rose, and every part of the day reflected the love, care, and excitement surrounding Madison and Layne as they officially became husband and wife.

Florals, Reception Details, and Their First Dance

One of the details Madison specifically wanted documented was the flowers, and they truly played such a beautiful role in the overall look of the day. The florals by Drummond’s Florist added softness, romance, and that perfect spring garden party feeling throughout the wedding.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a reception filled with dinner, dessert, music, ice cream, and celebration. Madison and Layne shared their first dance surrounded by their guests, creating one of those simple, emotional moments that felt completely true to them.

Their reception included catering by Andre’s Catering, desserts by Regina Martin (mother of the groom), ice cream from Sling N Scoops, and music by Big Show Productions.
